About Birdfy
Birdfy, launched by Netvue in 2020, sells smart birdwatching gear: AI camera bird feeders, hummingbird feeders, camera birdhouses and bird baths paired with a companion app.

Its OrniSense AI is built to recognize species, behavior, life stage and gender and to point out possible health problems, while the app gathers alerts, recaps and community posts. Netvue co-founder Jiangtao (Gene) Wen is Chief Scientist, and British nature writer Stephen Moss is listed as a global consultant. Birdfy says it relies on anti-predator designs and eco-friendly materials, and devices carry a two-year warranty with lifetime service for the original buyer.
