About Bake Me A Wish
Bake Me A Wish ships gourmet birthday cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, pies and gift baskets overnight from New York bakeries, and has done so since 2005.
The rule to know before saving: you get one reward per purchase, and a reward coupon can't be combined with another promo code.
Bake Me A Wish traces its start to 2004, when its founder, newly moved to Manhattan, wanted to mail a tiramisu birthday cake to his mother and found no New York City bakery willing to ship one, so he and a few friends baked and sent it themselves. The company works with partner bakeries in the city and has widened its range over time: cookies and brownies in 2012, then pies, cheesecakes and mini and jumbo cupcakes in 2015.
A business gifts division followed, with corporate logo cakes and holiday assortments, and the company says 1-800-Flowers brought it in to supply bakery gifts. Since 2007 its Operation: Birthday Cake program with Soldiers' Angels has sent cakes to deployed troops and veterans, and 5% of military orders go to it. Zodiac, personalized photo and gluten-free cakes are also on the menu.

How to use a Bake Me A Wish promo code
- Bake Me A Wish codes are percentage offers, and some carry an order minimum, such as 15% off orders of $75+ or 20% off $100+, with shipping left out of the discount.
- Only one reward or code works per purchase, so pick the larger saving rather than trying to pair a Wish Points reward with a promo code.
- Join the email list before ordering if you want the 15% off code for your next order.
- Forgot to enter a code?
- Customer care can apply it as long as the order hasn't shipped, which beats cancelling a birthday cake and starting over.
If your Bake Me A Wish code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "20% off orders of $100+ (excludes shipping)" needs an order of at least $100; "15% off orders of $75+ (excludes shipping)" needs an order of at least $75.
- Exclusions: Order-minimum percentage codes exclude shipping.
- Combining offers: One reward per purchase, and a reward coupon cannot be combined with another promo code.
- New customers only: "Get 10% Discount on Your First Purchase" is for a first order.
- End date: "Up to 20% Off Orders" ends Nov 18, 2026; "15% Off Storewide" ends Nov 18, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Bake Me A Wish
- Gifting Rewards pays 1 Wish Point per $1 spent, excluding shipping, and the points never expire, so occasional cake senders still collect.
- VIP tiers raise that to as much as 2.5x, and referring friends and family earns Wish Points too.
- Each day a different gift drops to 25% off in the Daily Deal, and an Autumn Sale with 20% off site-wide was on the site in October 2026.
- Gift certificates sit under Business Gifts, though corporate and wholesale clients can't join the rewards program.
