About Original Sprout
Original Sprout makes vegan, cruelty-free hair and body care for babies, kids and adults, from shampoos and conditioners to styling and fragrance-free options, produced in California.
The biggest saving is 50% off a first order for joining the email list, but that code can't be combined with other discounts or sales.
Original Sprout dates to 2003, when a new mother working as a hairstylist in Santa Barbara set out to make gentler products for sensitive skin. It now belongs to the Marygold Companies, Inc., which trades on NYSE American under the ticker MGLD. The brand says its formulas are clinically tested and made without parabens and phthalates, using botanicals like aloe vera, jojoba oil, calendula and kukui seed oil.
Products are grouped into the Classic, Tahitian, Worry Free and Coastal collections, alongside curly hair care, travel and gift sets, and accessories. Shoppers can add a free sample pack to an order, or get one on its own by paying shipping, and the site runs a Sprout Cash rewards program and publishes a page of test results.
When shoppers look for Original Sprout coupons
Original Sprout coupon searches peak in October, about 1.5× a typical month, and dip lowest in March.
Does Original Sprout offer free shipping?
Yes. Domestic US orders of $89 or more ship free; below that, the rate depends on weight and destination.
How long does Original Sprout shipping take?
Orders leave in 1-2 business days and usually arrive in 1-8 business days within the US, depending on location and method.

How to use a Original Sprout promo code
- Original Sprout runs on Shopify, so the discount box is on the checkout page's order summary.
- Join the email newsletter first, since that's where the 50% first-order code comes from.
- That code stands alone: it can't be stacked with other discounts or used on sale items.
- With half off, an order can fall below the $89 free-shipping line, so check whether the shipping charge eats into the saving.
- Adding the free sample pack costs nothing and lets you test formulas before committing to full sizes.
If your Original Sprout code doesn't work
- Combining offers: The newsletter first-order discount cannot be combined with other discounts or sales.
- New customers only: "50% off select products" is for a first order.
- End date: "Save 25%" ends Nov 9, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Original Sprout
- Trial sizes are the brand's own suggestion for a first try, and they also limit the cost if a product doesn't suit, since shipping isn't refunded.
- The free sample pack works the same way at no charge on any order.
- Larger restocks are where the $89 free-shipping line pays off.
- Sprout Cash rewards are listed too, though their terms couldn't be read.
