About Shoott

Shoott books free 30-minute outdoor photoshoots with vetted local photographers in 60+ American cities, and money only changes hands afterward, when the client picks which digital photos to keep.

That makes the gallery purchase the moment to save: packages of 10 photos or the full gallery cut the per-photo cost below the $25 single price, and mailing-list subscribers get 10% off their first photo purchase.

Shoott launched in New York City in the summer of 2018 and describes itself as a female-led small business. It now runs sessions at 600+ locations for occasions such as family, maternity, graduation, engagement, birthday and pet photos. Its photographers are freelance contractors; Shoott says it admits just 2-5% of the photographers who apply and takes care of marketing, support and sales for them, with a guaranteed minimum pay per shooting hour.

On privacy, the company states that galleries stay private, that client images never go into AI model training and that it does not use facial recognition. Purchased images are licensed for personal, non-commercial use.

How to use a Shoott promo code

  1. Nothing is charged when a Shoott session is booked apart from a temporary card hold for possible late or no-show fees, so a discount only comes into play once the private gallery of 40+ lightly edited photos arrives, within 3 to 5 business days.
  2. Mailing-list sign-up has to happen before that purchase, because the 10% welcome offer is tied to the first photo purchase.
  3. The choice between single photos and a package is made inside one gallery: package pricing cannot be split across galleries, so two family shoots mean two separate decisions.
  4. A gift card balance goes toward the same photo checkout.
  5. Since purchased photos are final sale, settle the package size before paying.
