About Quince
Quince sells factory-direct cashmere, clothing, bedding, furniture, jewelry, home goods and baby and kids items for women and men, and standard shipping costs nothing on any order.
The rule that shapes every saving here is strict: offers, credits and discounts never combine, so a referral reward or a points code has to carry the whole order on its own.
Quince was started by people who had worked for high-end brands and found luxury apparel, jewelry and homeware hard to justify buying for themselves. It is an online-only company based in San Francisco, and it keeps costs down by shipping straight from partner factories rather than going through sourcing agents, warehouses, wholesalers and retail stores. Quince says it only partners with factories that meet or go beyond global standards for workplace safety and fair pay.
Materials include Mongolian cashmere, baby alpaca, merino wool, European linen, washable silk, Italian suede, organic cotton and recycled polyester, and packaging uses compostable poly bags and recycled mailers. The catalog also stretches to travel bags, cookware, rugs, beauty and wellness, and maternity wear, and a business arm handles corporate gifting, hospitality, uniforms and white-label products.

- At Quince the first-order discount runs through a friend's referral rather than an email sign-up: the referred shopper gets $20 off a first purchase of $100 or more, and only new customers qualify.
- Points from the rewards program are redeemed as discount codes, yet those codes obey the same rule as every other offer, credit or discount, none of which can be combined.
- A referral reward and a points code therefore cannot share one cart, so the larger saving is the one to keep.
- Any code or credit also lapses on the sixtieth day after it arrives unless stated otherwise, which means an older one may have run out by the time the order is placed.
