About Monos

Monos designs vegan hard-shell suitcases, bags, wallets, sunglasses and travel accessories in Vancouver, Canada.

For luggage, the 100-day trial matters more than any code, but it's voided once a suitcase has been used in transit. Standard shipping is free over $100 to the contiguous US and Canada.

Monos takes its name from mono no aware, a Japanese idea about appreciating the beauty of passing moments, and it is a Certified B Corporation. Its luggage comes in Classic, Expandable, Hybrid and Aluminum collections, from carry-ons to large check-ins and trunks, while bags span the Metro, Field and Gesso lines of backpacks, duffels, totes, briefcases and crossbodies. Sunglasses are made from Mazzucchelli acetate with ZEISS lenses.

The company says it relies on the materials and factories used by high-end luggage makers but sells direct. It runs stores in Vancouver, Toronto, Coquitlam, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Washington, DC, along with a music lounge and café called Postcard, and has done collaborations with SIMONMILLER, Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz.
