About TravlFi

TravlFi builds mobile internet for people who live and work from an RV: JourneyGo hotspots, the XTR Pro router, antennas, and pay-as-you-go data plans with Canada and Mexico options.

The real money question here is the plan, not the box. Every data plan carries a one-time $30 activation fee, and plans themselves are never refunded.

TravlFi is a brand of Pace International, a Rochester, Minnesota company that has been there since 1972 and started out as a regional electronics distributor. Pace also distributes DISH Network nationally to the RV market and runs its own warehouse, fulfillment center and US-based call center.

Besides hotspots and routers, the store sells range extenders and cell boosters, and an OmniSIM lets owners of other hotspots or cellular routers join TravlFi's multi-network service. Online tools include a device quiz, a data estimator and a coverage map. Warranty coverage is 3 years on the XTR Pro 5G router and 1 year on the JourneyGo hotspots. TravlFi also runs a military program and an affiliate program.

What is TravlFi's return policy?

Phone TravlFi to request a return within 30 days; hardware must be like new, unscratched and fully boxed, and you cover all shipping.

How long does TravlFi shipping take?

Economy and expedited rates are set at checkout by carrier, orders after 2pm CST leave the next business day, and Hawaii and Alaska aren't served.

Does TravlFi offer a military discount?

Yes. Active duty, veterans, reservists and military families get $25 off any TravlFi Wi-Fi device.

Does TravlFi refund a data plan you don't use?

Data plans aren't refundable, and leftover data doesn't carry into the next month. You can pause or cancel service whenever you like, with no fee to reactivate later.

How much does it cost to activate a TravlFi plan?

Each data plan adds a one-time $30 activation fee on top of the monthly price, which starts at $19/mo.

Can a JourneyGo hotspot be returned?

A return has to be requested by phone within 30 days, and the device must be like new with every part in its original packaging. The item cost goes back to your card, but shipping isn't covered.

Does TravlFi ship to Hawaii or Alaska?

Neither state gets deliveries. Elsewhere, economy and expedited rates are calculated at checkout from the carrier and your address.
