About Trezor
Trezor, from SatoshiLabs Group, has sold open-source hardware wallets for Bitcoin and other crypto since 2013; the current range is the Trezor Safe 3, 5 and 7, with backup accessories and the Trezor Suite app.
Trezor states it runs no long-term promotional campaign, so savings come from short announced promotions, bundles and a friend's referral.
Trezor describes itself as the original inventor of the hardware wallet and says it is financed by its own revenue rather than by outside investors. Private keys are generated on the device and stay offline, each transaction is reviewed on the wallet's own screen before signing, and the recovery phrase created during setup can restore the wallet onto any Trezor if the device is lost.
