About Hondros College

Hondros College teaches Ohio real estate licensing, from pre-license and exam prep through post-license and continuing education for salespeople and brokers, and has operated since 1981, now within the Colibri Real Estate family.

The school traces back to 1981, when founder John G. Hondros, who worked both as an attorney and in real estate, began running one-day cram sessions to help people pass the state exam. Hondros says it was the first school in Ohio cleared to teach pre-licensing fully online, a program it built with regulators in 2016.

Classroom courses run at campuses in Columbus/Westerville, Cincinnati/West Chester, Cleveland South/Independence, Toledo/Maumee and Dayton. Beyond the salesperson license, the catalog covers broker pre-licensing, appraisal and a negotiation certification, and study tools include the Crammer review sessions and CompuCram practice tests, with career expos and a broker partner network for job hunting.
