About Lummi Island Wild
Lummi Island Wild ships frozen, wild-caught salmon, whitefish and shellfish straight from the reefnet fishery it runs in the Salish Sea, with no farmed fish anywhere in the range.
Frozen orders carry a $145.00 minimum, and that same figure is the free-shipping line, so every seafood box already travels free and a code can only work on the fish itself.
The salmon lineup covers King, Sockeye, Coho, Pink and Keta, along with ikura (salmon roe). Whitefish options include halibut, albacore tuna, true cod and black cod (sablefish), while the shellfish side carries Alaskan weathervane scallops, Dungeness crab and Salish Sea spot prawns. Canned tuna and salmon, a smoked salmon chowder, wild seafood bone broth and a Sashimi Grade collection round out the range.
The company's president, Ian, runs its reefnet operation, a selective technique with Indigenous roots in which fish are sorted by hand while still alive and unwanted species are let go. The rest of the seafood comes from tribal, local and independent crews based in Washington, Alaska and elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
