About Superspace
Superspace sells giant magnetic building panels that kids turn into forts and play structures, offered as full sets and add-on packs since a U.S.
and UK Kickstarter launch in April 2021. Ground shipping is already free across the contiguous U.S., so the real lever is the set price, with a $50 saving on The Family Pack posted on the site.
Superspace was created by Craig, Charlie and Ant, three fathers from New Zealand who met at college and got the idea from watching their own children claim corners of the living room with cushions and cardboard boxes. Their Kickstarter campaign raised more than US $1 million, and the range has grown since then.
Each panel measures 2x3 feet and is made of soft eco-felt rather than hard plastic, joined by a patented self-aligning magnet system, so panels connect without instructions. Sets come as The Little Set with 16 panels, The Big Set with 24 and The Family Pack with 40, plus add-on packs and accessories, and kids use them to build castles, rockets, cafés and trucks. A separate educator store serves schools, and replacement bamboo rods for a damaged panel are sent free.
