About CircleDNA
CircleDNA sells at-home DNA test kits: you send a cheek swab sample back to the lab.
The CircleDNA app then shows 500+ reports on disease risk, drug response, nutrition, fitness, skin, traits and ancestry. In Hong Kong a Premium DNA Test is HK$3,999, so multi-kit bundles, down to HK$2,499 a kit, matter most when several people test.
CircleDNA reads a saliva sample with next-generation sequencing (NGS), which the company says covers more than 3 million genetic markers at 99.9% analytical accuracy. It is supported by the genomics firm Prenetics and is accredited under ISO 27001 for information security. Scientists named on the site include Prof. Tony S. K. Mok of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Prof. Pasi A. Jänne of Dana-Farber and Harvard Medical School.
Reports are grouped by goals such as family planning, preventative health, and wellness and beauty, with less common topics like stress and sleep, pollution, music and dance, and brain health. Each test comes with a 30-minute genetic consultation, and the site runs in English as well as traditional and simplified Chinese. CircleDNA says it encrypts DNA data and never sells or rents it.
Does CircleDNA offer free shipping?
