About Abbode
Abbode is a New York City brand, founded in 2020, that embroiders pouches, totes, apparel and home goods to order with names, icons and monograms, a frequent pick for bridal parties and gifts.
Because custom pieces are final sale and cash refunds are not offered, getting the personalization right matters more than any code; domestic orders from $100 ship free.
Abbode was started by Abigail Price in February 2020 and in May 2021 opened a shop on Elizabeth Street in New York City. It first sold dried flower arrangements and vintage finds, then moved into custom embroidery in 2022, which is now the core of the business. The brand has worked on collaborations with J.Crew, L.L.Bean and Djerf Avenue.
Designs are built from four styles: Monogram, for up to 3 initials; Signature, which pairs one icon with text; Essentials, with three icons and text; and Bespoke, which works from the customer's own upload. Signature touches include an embroidered kiss and handwritten notes. The range covers Waffle and Croc pouches and the Everywhere Tote, tank tops, waffle robes, pillowcases, cocktail napkins, eye masks and charms, with a ready-to-ship selection and a separate ordering route for businesses.
