About Tangem

Tangem sells non-custodial crypto hardware wallets shaped as cards or a ring, from 2-card and 3-card sets to the Family Pack, Pro Kit and Tangem Ring, all run through a companion app.

Standard shipping is free on orders above $100, measured before VAT, so a set that clears that line keeps delivery off the bill.

Tangem is the trading name of Tangem AG, a company based in Zug, Switzerland, and its wallets have been on sale since 2017. Each card or ring carries a secure chip made with Samsung Semiconductors and certified to EAL6+, and the firmware has been audited by Kudelski Security and Riscure. There is no battery: the wallet draws power from a phone's NFC when tapped, and Tangem expects the hardware to keep working for 25 years or more, with resistance to water, X-rays and temperatures from -25 to 50°C.

Instead of a written 12-word recovery phrase, backup works by linking several cards that hold the same key, though a seed phrase stays optional. The app supports over 14,100 tokens on more than 90 networks, and buying, swapping and staking run through outside providers rather than Tangem itself.
