About Three
Three is a UK mobile network selling Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go phones, SIM Only plans, home and mobile broadband, tablets and smartwatches, all priced in GBP.
The detail that shapes real value is the yearly rise: monthly charges go up each April by a fixed amount set by your plan, so a cheap first month isn't the whole story.
Three's Three Your Way plans let customers choose a device, decide how much to pay upfront, set the length of the contract and then add extras. The network also sells refurbished phones, accepts eligible handsets as trade-ins and runs business plans next to its personal range.
For travel, its Go Roam service works in over 160 destinations, and Pay Monthly customers can add Call Abroad bundles for calls to 55 destinations, the USA among them. Customers aged 18 and over can join Three+, a free rewards app with brand offers, a cheap barista drink each week and presale tickets. Three also works with Samaritans on a partnership aimed at the nation's wellbeing and partners with the Channel 4 show Gogglebox.
Does Three have a student discount?
Yes. 20% off airtime plans on SIM, phone and home broadband, claimed through Three's own form.
What is Three's return policy?
Phones, tablets and broadband devices ordered online can go back within 14 days of receipt if 'as new', or 30 days for Home Broadband customers.
How long does Three shipping take?
Devices ordered before 8pm ship by DPD next working day; SIMs go by Amazon on tracked 2-day delivery.

How to use a Three promo code
- Three's promo code box sits near the bottom of the basket, so add your plan or phone first and enter the code there before checking out.
- The current public offer takes £2 off a month on a plan.
- Students get 20% off airtime with a separate code from Three's own form, though it doesn't cover some SIMs on 24-month plans, including the 120GB one.
- Weigh any monthly saving against the April rise before you sign, because that increase is fixed in the plan.
- If you change your mind on a delivered device, returning it 'as new' within 14 days cancels the order; call Three to arrange it.
More ways to save at Three
