Prime Day Sale: save with code BONDPRIME
Prime Day is Amazon's members-only sale, and it has become a summer sale event for many other retailers too. Competing stores often schedule their own promotions on the same days, open to everyone.
Electronics, smart-home devices, kitchen appliances, household basics and many independent brands that sell on Amazon are typically discounted. Outside Amazon, the stores we follow sometimes announce Prime Day-week sales on their own sites.
Prime Day deals on Amazon are mostly limited to Prime members, and the best-known ones are lightning deals that run for a few hours or until stock runs out. Amazon announces the dates a few weeks ahead, and early deals sometimes appear before the event starts.
Many brands that sell on Amazon also run a sale on their own website during the same days, and other big retailers schedule competing events. Those sales are open to everyone, with no membership needed, and sometimes include bundles, free gifts or longer return windows that the Amazon listing does not offer.
Amazon has also held a second members-only event in October in recent years. This page covers the summer Prime Day. When the stores we follow announce offers tied to either event, they show up on the store's own page with the date we saw them.
What each store announced on its own site, so you know where to look. These are past or recurring sales as we read them, not current offers.
Amazon sets the Prime Day dates each year and announces them a few weeks ahead. It has usually been held in July. Other stores often run their own sales on the same days. This page gives the dates once Amazon has announced them.
