About 5 Little Monkeys
5 Little Monkeys makes kids' mattresses in California for ages 3 to 18, and sells kids' pillows, waterproof mattress protectors, bedding and bed bases to match.
The detail that matters for saving is that its email sign-up discount covers bedding and bases only, while mattress savings come from the banner offers on the site.
5 Little Monkeys grew out of a bedding family. Its timeline starts with Los Angeles Bed in 1925; Irving Harrow founded Hollywood Bed in 1945, his son Larry took over in the 1970s, and Jason Harrow has run the company since 2010. Jason says he could find no mattress made for children when his daughters left their cribs, so he created the 5 Little Monkeys Sleep System, which launched in 2016.
The mattress has 8 inches of CertiPUR-US certified memory foam, a dual phase change gel comfort layer, a fiberglass-free flame barrier certified UL GREENGUARD Gold, and a removable, washable organic cotton cover. The kids' pillow is hypoallergenic and machine washable, and the mattress carries a 15-year warranty.

How to use a 5 Little Monkeys discount code
- The shop runs on Shopify, so the discount box sits in the order summary on the checkout page.
- Join the email list through the pop-up first if you're adding sheets, pillows or a base, because that 10% off applies to bedding and bases, not mattresses.
- On a mattress, look at the banner offers before checkout: one pairs $100 off with a free pillow and a free protector, another takes 40% off the hybrid model.
- A referred friend's $25 credit is tied to a kids mattress + bedding bundle rather than a mattress alone.
More ways to save at 5 Little Monkeys
- The referral program works both ways: your friend saves $25 on a kids mattress + bedding bundle and you get a $25 Amazon e-gift card.
- Pairing a mattress with the protector and pillow in the $100-off banner saves buying those extras later.
- If you live in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, budget for the $300 freight before comparing discounts, since it can outweigh a smaller code.
