About Blundstone
Blundstone is an Australian boot maker, in business for over 150 years, selling Chelsea boots, clogs and work and safety boots for men, women and kids.
On its US store, orders over $75 ship free by UPS Ground to the 48 contiguous states. Returns of unworn boots are free for 30 days, but final sale pairs can't go back.
Blundstone's story starts in 1870 in Hobart, Tasmania, where John Blundstone began making hard-wearing footwear for city streets, farmland and factory floors. The company says its boots have since been worn by Australian soldiers, Everest expeditioners, footballers, farmers and police officers, and that it came through the Great Depression and both world wars.
Today it trades as Blundstone Australia Pty Ltd and runs separate storefronts for the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Alongside the boots, its site publishes boot guides, care advice, a size guide and LIMB Stories, a series of features about the people who wear them.
