About Magic Hour
Magic Hour blends wellness loose-leaf teas across herbal, matcha, chai, oolong and single-origin lines, sells sampler sets and the Monthly Magic subscription, and stocks teaware plus apothecary goods like bath soaks, candles and tarot books.
Its checkout accepts only one discount code per order, and none at all when the bill is split through Afterpay or Partial.ly.
Magic Hour was founded by Zhena Muzyka, who serves as its CEO and master tea blender, and the company describes itself as female founded and operated. The name refers to the glowing light around sunrise and sunset, and the brand frames its teas around a morning and evening tea ritual. Production happens at its own factory in Ojai, California, and the company says every tea is third-party tested.
Teas can be shopped by intention, such as sleep and relaxation, energy and clarity, digestion, hormonal balance or beauty, and some blends come in plant-silk sachets. The pantry section adds tea boosts, teasoning salts and honey. In downtown Ojai, Magic Hour also runs a retail shop and tea salon at 217 E Matilija Street.

When shoppers look for Magic Hour coupons
Magic Hour coupon searches peak in December, about 1.7× a typical month, and dip lowest in July.
How long does Magic Hour shipping take?
Standard rates start at $5.99, other options are priced at checkout, and orders in before noon Pacific usually leave the same business day.
What is Magic Hour's return policy?
Only accessories, within 7 days of receipt and in pristine, sellable condition; loose-leaf and packaged teas and gourmet products cannot go back.
What payment methods does Magic Hour accept?
Afterpay and Partial.ly split the cost, but a discount code will not work with either method.

How to use a Magic Hour discount code
- Magic Hour is a Shopify shop, so the discount box is on the checkout page's order summary.
- Pick the code carefully, since a second one will be refused, and settle on the payment method before entering it: choosing Afterpay or Partial.ly voids the discount.
- A code that arrived in a promotional email may already have lapsed if more than 24 hours have passed since it was sent, so older inbox offers deserve a check of the send time.
- Newcomers who land through a Ritual Rewards member's referral link get $11 off a first order of $50 or more without hunting for anything else.
If your Magic Hour code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Codes from email promotions may have ended if used more than 24 hours after the email was sent.
- One code per order: Only one discount code is accepted per order, and codes do not work when paying with Partial.ly or Afterpay.
- New customers only: $11 off a first purchase of $50 or more (through a Ritual Rewards member's referral link) does not apply to repeat orders.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Magic Hour
- Build Your Box trims up to 20% when several teas are packed together, and the Autumn Alchemy / Spellbound Sips limited-edition Halloween teas were running at up to 20% off in late September 2026.
- Ritual Rewards VIP tiers at $250, $500 and $1,000 of annual spend raise earning to as much as 1.5 points per $1 and open sales early.
- Birthdays and social follows add points too, and a double-points promotion is currently among the listed offers.
Magic Hour questions, answered
Where can I find a 20% off coupon?
The deepest listed savings reach 20% through Build Your Box and the fall Halloween tea collection rather than a standing code. Ritual Rewards can also turn 400 points into $20 off.
Is there a Magic Hour discount for a first order?
A first purchase of $50 or more gets $11 off when it starts from a Ritual Rewards member's referral link.
What does Magic Hour charge for shipping?
Domestic standard shipping is quoted from $5.99, with other rates worked out at checkout. Canada starts at $15.00 and other international destinations at $35.00.
Can two codes be used on one Magic Hour order?
Only one discount code is accepted per order. Codes also fail when the order is paid with Partial.ly or Afterpay.
Can tea be returned to Magic Hour?
Loose-leaf and packaged teas cannot be returned, and neither can gourmet products; only accessories go back, within 7 days of receipt. A defective or damaged item can instead be exchanged within 30 days.
Is there a Magic Hour shop to visit in person?
A retail storefront and tea salon sits in downtown Ojai at 217 E Matilija Street. Online orders ship from the company's facility in the same town.
Are Magic Hour teas tested?
Every tea in the range is third-party tested, according to the company.
