About Danner

Danner is a Portland, Oregon bootmaker founded in 1932, selling boots and shoes for work, hiking, hunting, military and everyday wear, plus apparel, socks and boot care.

Danner traces its story to Charles Danner, who moved to the Pacific Northwest to make boots for loggers, and the brand still ties its identity to that region's forests, mountains and coastline. Its range today spans waterproof hikers with lightweight, sneaker-like comfort, insulated and tactical boots, slip-ons and sandals, alongside shirts, outerwear, socks, gloves, belts and wallets.
