About Gardener's Supply
Gardener's Supply sells raised beds, planters, plant supports, garden tools, watering gear, grow lights and pest controls, from an employee-owned Vermont company that also runs garden centers.

Gardener's Supply was founded by Will Raap in 1983 as a catalog mail-order business and was among the first to sell tools for older gardeners and those with physical limitations. It set up an Employee Stock Ownership Plan in 1986, and its mission statement dates to 1990. After moving to Burlington's Intervale floodplain, it started the Intervale Compost Project in 1987, which led to the independent Intervale Center.
Its garden centers are in Williston and Burlington, Vermont, Lebanon and Greenland, New Hampshire, and Hadley, Massachusetts. Product lines include the Titan trellis collection and Jardin plant supports, along with composters, cold frames, rain barrels and amaryllis gifts.
