Hooters is a wings-focused restaurant chain with more than 420 locations in 29 countries, and it also sells branded apparel, headwear, souvenirs and gift cards online.
Most of the money you can save there comes through HootClub Rewards, the free app program, rather than a code typed into a merchandise checkout.
Hooters opened in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida, started by six businessmen who had never run a restaurant before. The concept pairs wings and other bar food with cold beer and sports on large screens, served by the Hooters Girls, and the brand also publishes a Hooters Calendar and holds an international pageant. Hooters of America, LLC acts as franchisor and operator, with restaurants spread across 42 US states.
Besides the original format, the site lists Hoots Wings by Hooters, and it takes catering and party pack orders. The company partners with the V Foundation, a cancer research charity, and set up a breast cancer research grant named for Kelly Jo Dowd, a former calendar cover girl, while its Community Endowment Fund gives to charities such as Make-A-Wish and Special Olympics.
