About Jimmy John's

Jimmy John's makes toasted and classic subs, wraps and sides for delivery or pickup, caters larger orders and sells merchandise through the Jimmy Store.

The first move that pays off is joining Jimmy John's Rewards before you order, because a member's first order earns a free sandwich for later.

Jimmy John's splits its menu into Originals, Favorites, chicken sandwiches and combos, along with Little Johns, smaller versions of the Original subs, and the Gargantuan, which stacks five proteins with provolone. Plain Slims keep things to a single protein or cheese, and many sandwiches can be ordered on French bread, sliced wheat or the Unwich. A high-protein line keeps every pick at no less than 20g of protein and fewer than 500 calories.

Sides include chips, pasta salad and the Jimmy Pickle, with cookies and a brownie for dessert. The site posts calorie counts, printable food and catering menus, a nutrition and allergen guide and a separate ingredient guide.

When shoppers look for Jimmy John's coupons

Jimmy John's coupon searches peak in September, about 1.3× a typical month, and dip lowest in August.

How to use a Jimmy John's coupon

  1. The Jimmy John's pages read for this page don't say where a typed promo code goes, so Rewards is the main route to a discount.
  2. Sign up before your first order, in the app, on the website, or by texting your email address to 88190, which also opts you in to texts.
  3. Place that first order as a member and the free sandwich is yours after it.
  4. Redeem rewards from your points balance, which grows only on food and drinks.
  5. A delivery fee never adds to that balance, and neither does Jimmy Store merchandise or a gift card purchase.

If your Jimmy John's code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "$5 off Orders of $20+ Nights & Weekends" needs an order of at least $20; "$5 off $20+ Orders" needs an order of at least $20.
  • New customers only: Free sandwich on a first order (join Jimmy John's Rewards; a free sandwich unlocks after the first order) does not apply to repeat orders.
  • End date: "Promotional Code: $1 Off Fan Feast" ends Dec 6, 2026; "20% Off Pick-Up Orders" ends Nov 17, 2026.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Jimmy John's

  • Points build at 10 per $1, and members also get a birthday surprise and member offers.
  • A gift card is a tidy way to budget for lunches: it never expires, carries no fees after purchase and reloads in restaurants.
  • It can't be refunded, though, so load only what you'll spend on subs.
  • Slow down at the Jimmy Store, where merchandise is final sale and earns no points.
