About Lumens

Lumens sells designer modern lighting, ceiling fans, contemporary furniture and decor from premium brands, to homeowners and design trade pros alike.

Return shipping comes out of your credit, so getting a fixture right the first time and clearing $99 for free ground delivery matter more than chasing codes.

When shoppers look for Lumens coupons

Lumens coupon searches peak in March, about 1.8× a typical month, and dip lowest in August.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does Lumens offer free shipping?

Yes. Ground delivery is free over $99 within the contiguous US; below that, Lumens charges a $14.99 flat rate.

What is Lumens' return policy?

Items that are new, uninstalled and in original packaging can go back within 30 days; Lumens Trade members get a longer window.

More about shopping at Lumens

Shipping exclusions
Freight, oversize and surcharged items don't ship free, and neither do orders to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Return costs
Return shipping is deducted from your credit, expedited shipping isn't refunded, and returns over $5,000 may carry restocking fees.
Not returnable
Anything marked non-returnable, or already installed or assembled, stays yours.

How to use a Lumens promo code

  1. Brand events at Lumens, like the Four Hands sale at 20% off every piece, may already discount what's in your cart, so compare that price with any code before paying.
  2. Keep the subtotal over $99 after the discount, or the $14.99 flat rate comes back.
  3. Freight and oversize furniture fall outside free shipping regardless, so read the delivery line on a large order.
  4. Hold off installing a fixture until you're sure it suits the room, because installed pieces can't be returned.

If your Lumens code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "10% Discount on Your Order" needs an order of at least $400; "$50 off Your Order of $500 or More + Free Shipping" needs an order of at least $500.
  • End date: "Extra 10% Off Your Order" ends Jan 1, 2027; "10% Discount on Your Order" ends Jan 1, 2027.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Lumens

  • Design trade professionals in Lumens Trade get a longer return window than the standard 30 days, which lowers the risk on big specification orders.
  • Brand-wide events are worth watching too: Four Hands furniture was 20% off every piece during one sale.
  • Since return shipping is taken out of your credit, measure and check finishes before ordering.

Lumens questions, answered

Who pays return shipping at Lumens?

Return shipping is deducted from the refund credit, so the shopper covers it. Expedited shipping charges aren't refunded either.

Can installed light fixtures be returned to Lumens?

Installed or assembled items are excluded from returns, along with anything marked non-returnable.
