About Mavis

Mavis sells tires from more than 100 brands and handles oil changes, brakes, alignments, batteries and inspections at more than 2,100 service centers in 36 states.

Its savings arrive as service specials and tire rebates, which you redeem by booking online, calling, or showing a picture of the offer at the counter.

Mavis started in 1949 as Vic's Cycle Shop, a small bicycle repair stand in New York's Westchester County, and took the Mavis Tire Supply name in 1972 after founders Marion and Victor Sorbaro. A 2018 merger that brought in Brakes Plus and Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers formed Mavis Tire Express Services Corp., and Midas joined in June 2025.

The wider family now includes Tire Kingdom, NTB, Town Fair Tire and Tuffy, and the group counts more than 3,500 company-run and franchised sites in the U.S. and Canada. Besides tires and routine maintenance, Mavis handles suspension, exhaust and AC repair, mobile tire service and fleet maintenance for commercial accounts. It sells tractor tires but does not fit them, and a free service such as a tire rotation can be booked on its own.

How to use a Mavis coupon

  1. Mavis doesn't run its service specials through a code box.
  2. Attach the special when you book online, quote it to the sales center by phone, or bring a picture of the offer to the shop, since the store needs to see it.
  3. Tire rebates, such as the Pirelli $100 instant rebate on select sets of 4, can usually ride along with a service special unless a coupon says otherwise.
  4. The senior and military discounts work the opposite way: neither combines with other coupons, vouchers or special offers, and price-match or warranty jobs are excluded from both.

If your Mavis code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "Free Shipping on Order of $50 or More" needs an order of at least $50.
  • Exclusions: Price-match and warranty transactions are excluded from the senior and military discount programs.
  • Combining offers: Senior and military discounts cannot be combined with other coupons, vouchers or special offers. Rebates can usually be combined with service specials unless a coupon says otherwise; card offers can be combined with manufacturer rebates and Mavis deals.
  • Where to enter it: Redeem a service special by booking online, calling the sales center or showing the offer in the store (a picture of the offer is required).

  • Card offers on the Mavis Credit Card can be combined with manufacturer rebates and Mavis deals, and the card also works at other Mavis brands and Synchrony Car Care locations.
  • A free service such as a tire rotation can be booked on its own.
