About National Tyres and Autocare
National Tyres and Autocare, part of Halfords, sells fitted tyres for cars, vans, SUVs, 4x4s and caravans from brands like Michelin, Bridgestone and Pirelli, plus MOTs, servicing, brakes and batteries.
Fitted prices already include VAT, a new valve, balancing and old-tyre disposal, so compare the full fitted total rather than the bare tyre price.
National Tyres and Autocare runs a UK fast-fit garage business and now belongs to the Halfords group. Besides tyres, its technicians work on exhausts, wheel alignment and balancing, air conditioning, clutches, steering and suspension, and run vehicle safety inspections. Drivers can have tyres fitted at a branch, book a same-day slot, or use a mobile fitter. The company says it runs over 200 of its own garages within a wider Halfords network of more than 600.
Its tyre guarantee covers manufacturing faults until the tread wears to the 1.6mm legal minimum, regardless of mileage, and the fitting work is covered as well. Quotes are fixed where it can manage and hold for 30 days. A separate National Fleet division handles business customers that run vehicle fleets, and the site also covers tyres for electric vehicles.
