About SAME
SAME is a fashion label selling ready-to-wear dresses, gowns, knits, outerwear and leather, alongside denim, swimwear, jewelry, belts and a line of children's denim.
At SAME the cost of sending something back matters as much as any discount: only full-price pieces are returnable, and each refund loses a $12 restocking fee plus $3 per unit unless it is taken as an exchange or store credit.
SAME started in 2015 in California, founded by Shea Marie, and began as a swimwear label, which it describes as a luxury, cult-favorite line; ready-to-wear and denim were added in 2024. Swim remains a core category, with tops, bottoms, one-pieces and sarongs.
Recent collections lean on silk, cashmere, suede, leather and fringe, from silk gowns and blouses to cashmere turtlenecks, while the denim line centers on cuts such as The Barrel Jean, The Perfect Jean and The Wide Leg Jean. The site also groups pieces by occasion, with edits for bridal, wedding guests, vacation and day-to-night dressing, and keeps sections for matching sets and back-in-stock styles. A store locator lists its physical stores, and the brand also sells through pop-ups.

How to use a SAME discount code
- SAME takes discount codes at checkout.
- Two details decide whether a code is worth it on a given order.
- No free-shipping threshold is published, so even a discounted dress still carries at least the $12 Ground rate.
- And anything bought on final sale, including Sample Sale pieces, cannot come back later, so a code on those items is a permanent purchase.
- Only full-price items are returnable, and a refund on them loses the restocking fee plus $3 per unit, whereas an exchange or store credit keeps the full value.
- Mistakes can be fixed, or the whole order cancelled, from the confirmation page within 30 minutes of placing it.

When does SAME hold a Sample Sale?
SAME runs Sample Sales, but its site does not publish dates for them. Pieces bought there are final sale and do not qualify for free shipping.
How much does SAME deduct from a return?
A $12 restocking fee plus $3 per unit is taken from refunds, and neither the original nor the return shipping cost comes back. Choosing an exchange or store credit waives the restocking fee.
How long does a SAME refund take?
Returns can take up to 21 business days to process once they arrive, and the item has to be sent back within 14 days of delivery.
Does SAME ship internationally?
International orders travel by DHL Express through Global-e, Delivery Duty Paid. Returns from abroad are refund-only on full-price items within 14 days of delivery, with a $35 restocking and shipping fee.
Can a SAME order be changed after it is placed?
Edits and cancellations are possible from the order confirmation page, but only for 30 minutes after checkout.
Are SAME pop-up purchases returnable?
Pop-up purchases are final sale; within 7 days they can only be exchanged or turned into store credit, at the same store.
