Screwfix sells trade tools and hardware across the UK, from heating and plumbing parts to screws, nails and fixings, online and through about 940 stores.
The rule that saves you most is about delivery: UK home delivery is free over £50, and sending an order to any Screwfix store costs nothing at any spend.
Screwfix Direct Ltd runs the site with trade buyers in mind: shoppers can switch prices between including and excluding VAT, and a Trade Credit Account is available. Beyond the departments named above, the range covers security and ironmongery, building materials and doors, safety gear and workwear, sealants and adhesives, ladders and storage, auto and cleaning products, and painting and decorating supplies.
Other services include tool hire, refurbished products and Screwfix Custom for personalized workwear. Power tools can get an extended warranty when registered online within 28 days of purchase, and listed brands come with a free repair service. The site also links to Plumbfix, Electricfix and Trade Link, the Screwfix Foundation, and separate Screwfix sites for Ireland and France.

More about shopping at Screwfix
Slower postcodes
Northern Ireland, the Scottish Isles, the Isle of Man and some mainland postcodes take 48-72 hours; Channel Islands, PO Box and BFPO addresses get no delivery.
Excluded from returns
Cut, mixed or made-to-order goods can't go back, and neither can used macerators, toilets or water pumps.
Beyond the UK
About 5,000 products ship to Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Sweden via Screwfix.eu, while Ireland and France have their own sites.
The pages read for Screwfix don't show where its discount code box sits, so look for it as you go through checkout, before you pay.
Think twice before mixing a code with the Price Promise: the match excludes voucher codes, promotions, bulk deals and delivery charges, so you'll use one route or the other.
A delivery code matters least for store orders, since those already travel free, and Click & Collect items wait in store for 21 days.
Screwfix Sprint in the app has its own flat £4.99 charge per order with no minimum spend, so check that line separately.
More ways to save at Screwfix
Screwfix Rewards is a free opt-in inside the Screwfix app, and members get app-only campaigns such as prize games after qualifying orders.
Clearance on trade-brand stock is the other place to look before paying full price for a familiar tool.
Buying a power tool?
Register the extended warranty online within 28 days of purchase, because listed brands also get a free repair service.
A Screwfix Gift Card is sold too, which suits anyone who'd rather pick their own drill bits.
