About Zia Tile
Zia Tile sells handmade tile and stone, from zellige, cement and terra cotta to marble, limestone and Japanese ceramics, designed in Los Angeles and made by artisans worldwide for homeowners and trade professionals.
All sales are final, with no returns of opened or unopened boxes, so ordering the free samples before committing to a full pallet is the saving that matters most.
Zia Tile was founded in 2016 by Danny Mitchell and Mike Leflore, whose travels drew them to regional tile traditions: encaustic cement in Vietnam, zellige in Morocco and terra cotta in Mexico. The company works with artisans in those places and beyond, and says every tile it sells is handmade or quarried exclusively for Zia, so variation in color and small flaws are part of the look.
Lines include Cotto, a terra cotta made near San Miguel de Allende, and its glazed Cotto Allende version, fossil-flecked Belgian Bluestone, Mexican Cantera stone, French and Belgian limestone, terrazzo, glass and Roman mosaics, and the Field Trip: Japan ceramics.
