About Avon
Avon sells skin care, makeup, bath and body and fragrance, online and through its Avon Ambassadors, and it's been around since 1886, when it began as the California Perfume Company.
The number that shapes most orders is $60: reach it and standard ground shipping is free, fall short and it costs $8.
Avon traces its start to David H. McConnell, who sold books on the road and whose perfume samples grew into the business, and the company now marks 140 years. Avon describes itself as the company that pioneered social selling: anyone can sign up as an Ambassador for $0 and earn a discount on their own orders based on what they sell.
Familiar product lines include Skin So Soft body oils and lotions, Anew skin care such as the Ultimate Multi-Performance and Platinum creams, Moisture Therapy hand and body care, fmg Glimmer eyeliners and mascara, and fragrances like Imari, Far Away, Haiku and Rare Pearls. The site also has a digital brochure, a Spanish-language version and a tool for finding a local Ambassador.

How to use a Avon promo code
- Avon's coupon code box is at checkout, and codes aren't case sensitive, so capitals don't matter.
- Only one code counts per order.
- Some codes are tied to the email address they were sent to or work a single time, so a code from someone else's inbox may not go through.
- When a code has a minimum, Avon counts merchandise only, before shipping and taxes.
- A code whose minimum sits near $60 pairs well with the free ground shipping that starts at the same total.
If your Avon code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Codes may need a minimum merchandise purchase (excluding shipping and taxes).
- One code per order: One coupon code per order; some codes are tied to an email address or single use.
- End date: "15% Off Storewide" ends Jan 5, 2027; "15% Off Sitewide" ends Nov 17, 2026.
- Where to enter it: Coupon code box at checkout (codes are not case sensitive).
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Avon
- Avon Ambassadors pay $0 to join and get 20%-50% off their own orders of $40 or more, with the rate tied to sales.
- That suits frequent buyers more than an occasional shopper.
- Email sign-up is the other route, since subscribers may receive coupon codes.
- Think twice before buying Good Buys you might not keep: they can't be returned.
