About Barbour

Barbour is the South Shields heritage brand behind waxed and quilted jackets, plus knitwear, footwear, accessories and dog products for men, women and kids.

UK orders over £49 get free standard delivery, priced in GBP. The rule that matters most: Barbour won't change or cancel an order once it's placed, so check sizes and any code before you pay.

Barbour is the trading name of J. Barbour and Sons Ltd, and much of its site is built around keeping older pieces in use. Owners can send jackets for Re-Wax & Repair, join the Wax for Life and Quilt for Life schemes, buy care kits, or hand in a jacket through Re-loved, which also sells pre-owned Barbour. Footwear and bag repairs are handled by The Boot Repair Co.

Collections range from Icons and Heritage+ to Countrywear and a Tartan Reimagined edit built on the brand's own tartans. The Barbour International line includes a Steve McQueen collection, and recent partners include Paul Smith, Norbit and A.P.C., the Paris label founded in 1987, which pairs Barbour wax with its denim. Products are warranted against material defects for 12 months after delivery.

How to use a Barbour discount code

  1. Have any Barbour discount code ready before you reach checkout, and look at the order summary to confirm the reduction before you pay by debit card, credit card or PayPal.
  2. Barbour's UK site won't let you edit or cancel an order after it's placed, so a forgotten code can't be added afterwards; the only fix is returning the item.
  3. Repair & Rewax services bought online sit outside the free delivery offer, so a rewax on its own won't reach the £49 mark.
  4. Since exchanges aren't offered, ordering the right size the first time saves a return and a second order.

Does Barbour's UK site deliver abroad?

The UK site delivers only to UK addresses, with no PO Box, hotel or BFPO delivery. Shoppers in the States buy from Barbour's separate US storefront instead.

Can you cancel a Barbour order after placing it?

Barbour orders can't be changed or cancelled once placed. You can return the item instead within the 28-day window.
