About Beach Riot
Beach Riot sells women's swimwear, activewear and apparel, plus kids, bridal and accessories, all designed in an Orange County, California studio.

Beach Riot was launched in 2012 by designer Nicole Hanriot-Tinkess, who discovered swimwear design through a college fashion project and later worked as a licensee and designer for the SoCal brand Tavik. The brand name is a play on her often mispronounced surname, and its Beach to Street motto reflects pieces meant to move from the sand into everyday wear.
In 2017 the company added Sport Riot, an activewear line in the same bold colors and prints, and motherhood later led to Mommy + Mini matching styles. Each season's collections start from travel destinations, and swim and active pieces are designed to combine, so a swim top can pair with active bottoms or the reverse. The shop also offers a Core Collection, crochet swim, cover-ups and a fabric guide.
