1. The £5 sign-up code has a floor: your basket needs to reach £24.99 before it comes off.
2. If you're just under, adding slippers or a pair of wellies can carry the order over the line.
3. Sign up first, then enter the code at checkout before you pay.
4. Think about returns before you order, too.
5. A pair that doesn't fit can go back free to a shoezone store for a same-day refund or swap, while a postal return loses £2.50 from your refund.
6. Click and collect from over 7000 locations is another way to pick up the parcel, and next-day delivery suits a school-shoe emergency.
