About Beginning Boutique

Beginning Boutique is an Australian women's fashion boutique selling formal, party and wedding guest dresses, tops, bottoms, sets, swimwear and accessories, with its own collections in sizes 4 to 24.

Beginning Boutique was started in Brisbane in 2008 by Sarah, now its CEO, who launched the label without any background in fashion or online retail. Its early years mixed sell-out pop-up stores with plenty of trial and error, and the company describes its customer as its compass. The clothes are designed in Australia and ship from warehouses in Brisbane and San Diego, with separate storefronts for the US and Canada, New Zealand and the UK.

New arrivals land twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the range is built around dressing for events, from graduations and weddings to festivals and race days, alongside everyday basics, denim and loungewear. Its in-house line is sold as BB Exclusives, and it runs a collaboration with Mia Oglesby. The It List rewards program adds birthday vouchers and early sale access at higher spend tiers.
