About Belk

Belk is a Southern department store with women's, men's and kids' clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, beauty and bed & bath goods, from mainstream labels up to designer ones.

The figure that shapes most Belk orders is $99: delivery is free from there, and free store pickup is the fallback for a smaller bag.

When shoppers look for Belk coupons

Belk coupon searches peak in December, about 2× a typical month, and dip lowest in January.

US Google searches, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does Belk offer free shipping?

Yes. Belk delivers free once an order reaches $99, or you can choose free store pickup instead.

What is Belk's return policy?

You get 30 days from purchase, with exceptions such as special occasion dresses and fine jewelry.

What payment methods does Belk accept?

Belk's checkout lists the Belk Rewards credit card, Afterpay and Apple Pay among its payment choices.

More about shopping at Belk

Return conditions
Tags must stay on, mail returns cost a $12.95 carrier fee, and in-store returns are free. Belk Outlet and Belk Market sales are final.

How to use a Belk coupon code

  1. Start with the basket total, because a Belk code is worth less if it costs you free delivery.
  2. When a code could pull the order under $99, look at the shipping line in the order summary before you pay, and switch to store pickup if a fee appears.
  3. Belk's pages that were checked don't mark where the code box sits or which brands a code leaves out, so confirm the discount shows on the total before you place the order.
  4. The welcome offer listed above needs an email sign-up first, so do that before you start checking out.

If your Belk code doesn't work

  • New customers only: "50% off on First Order" is for a first order.
  • End date: "65% Off" ends Nov 21, 2026; "50% Off Storewide" ends Nov 21, 2026.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Belk

  • Belk Days is the store's big sale event, and select brands also carry markdowns online and in stores, both listed with the offers above.
  • The cheapest way to send something back is to walk it into a store, since mail returns lose $12.95 to the carrier fee.
  • Shipping and delivery charges aren't refunded either, which is one more reason to lean on store pickup for orders under $99.
  • Afterpay and Apple Pay change how you pay, not what you pay.

Belk questions, answered

How much does Belk charge for a mail return?

Mail returns carry a $12.95 carrier return fee unless Belk states otherwise, and original shipping and delivery fees aren't refunded. Taking the item back to a Belk store costs nothing.

Where does a Belk refund go?

Refunds are credited to the card you paid with, once the item comes back in original, saleable condition with its tags.
