About Chubbies
Chubbies sells men's short shorts, swim trunks, shirts, pants, outerwear and loungewear, plus kids' styles and NFL-licensed pieces, and has done since 2011.
The saving rule that shapes every order: one code per order, though customer service can add a site code afterwards if you checked out with a rewards code.
Chubbies was started by friends who were put off by mainstream men's fashion and felt the shorts on offer had grown too long and fussy. It launched in September 2011, its core casual shorts sold out for more than two years, and the line later widened into swim trunks, aloha shirts, sport and lounge shorts, performance polos, tees, hoodies and jackets. The brand calls itself the official outfitter of Friday at 5pm, and it is now part of Solo Brands.
Alongside the men's range are a For Her section, golf and pickleball outfits, and collaborations with George Kittle and Jurassic Park; the clothes are also sold in Chubbies stores and through wholesalers. Purchases help fund Foundation 43, which backs mental health causes, and the Chubbies Collective rewards program earns 1 point per $1 spent.
When shoppers look for Chubbies coupons
Chubbies coupon searches peak in June, about 2× a typical month, and dip lowest in October.

How to use a Chubbies coupon
- Chubbies runs on Shopify, so the discount box sits in the order summary on the checkout page.
- Only one code goes in per order.
- If you've used a Chubbies Collective rewards code, customer service can apply a site code to the same order afterwards, so text them at (512) 357-7845 rather than skipping one of the two.
- Codes don't work on exchanges.
- Military shoppers verify with GovX first to get the 15% code.
- Chubbies' return window wasn't printed on the pages read, so check its returns page before you buy a pair to try.
If your Chubbies code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "15% Off $500+ Orders" needs an order of at least $500.
- One code per order: Only one code per order; customer service can add a site code after the order if you used a rewards code; promo codes can't be used on exchanges.
- End date: "Special Code: 20% Off Storewide" ends Nov 17, 2026; "20% Off Storewide" ends Nov 17, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Chubbies
