About Color Wow

Color Wow makes hair care for color-treated and problem hair, from shampoos, conditioners and treatments to styling products and the Curl Wow line, under Federici Brands.

Its email and text sign-up gives 20% off orders of $65+ with free shipping. Promo codes skip travel sizes, kits, duos, bundles and merch, so check your cart first.

Color Wow was founded by Gail Federici, whose hair care career spans over 40 years and who earlier led John Frieda Hair Care, where she created Frizz Ease. The brand frames itself as a problem solver, and its products are developed in an in-house lab overseen by biochemist Dr. Joseph Cincotta rather than outsourced. Signature products include Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, an anti-humidity spray, and Root Cover Up.

On ingredients, Color Wow says it excludes the 30 ingredients restricted in the United States and the 1,400 restricted in the European Union, plus 70 more it believes can dull or distort hair color. It also says every leave-in treatment and styling product includes a minimum of two types of heat protection. The site lets shoppers browse by hair concern, such as frizz, scalp health, thin hair or brassiness.

US Google searches, Oct 2025 to Sep 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Orders go out by USPS or UPS, usually within 48-72 hours, and take up to 8 business days to arrive.

What is Color Wow's return policy?

How to use a Color Wow coupon

  1. Sign up for Color Wow emails and texts first to get the 20% off code, which needs an order of $65+ and brings free shipping with it.
  2. The code goes in the discount code box at the final stage of checkout.
  3. Only one promo code or discount works per order, and subscription items can't be combined with other offers, so the sign-up code and Subscribe & save don't mix.
  4. All promo codes exclude travel sizes, kits, duos, bundles and merch.
  5. A cart built around a duo or a kit won't take the code, so build the $65 from full-size single products.

If your Color Wow code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "20% off select products" needs an order of at least $50; "Get 25% Off $100+ Orders for New Subscribers" needs an order of at least $100.
  • Exclusions: Travel sizes, kits, duos, bundles and merch are excluded from all promo codes.
  • Combining offers: One promo code or discount per order; subscription items can't be combined with other offers.
  • New customers only: "Get 25% Off $100+ Orders for New Subscribers" is for a first order.
  • End date: "Get 15% Off Your Purchase" ends Nov 19, 2026; "Save 25% at Checkout" ends Nov 19, 2026.

  • A free bum bag came with orders of $75+ when the page was checked.
  • For products you reorder, Subscribe & save trims 5% and lets you pause, skip or cancel anytime.
  • Watch the 30-day return window on anything you're unsure of, since postage back is on you.
