About Madison Reed
Madison Reed sells at-home hair color, from permanent and demi-permanent shades to root touch-up and gloss, made in Italy without ammonia, plus hair care, coloring tools and Hair Color Bar salon services.
The steadiest saving comes from subscribing to your shade, which takes 15% off and adds a free Bowl + Brush Kit.
Madison Reed describes itself as female-founded and female-led, with a stated aim of helping customers feel confident. Its color formulas are labeled 8-Free, leaving out a list of harsh ingredients such as parabens and PPD, add argan oil, keratin and ginseng root extract, and carry Leaping Bunny cruelty-free certification.
Shoppers unsure of their shade can take a short online quiz or use a hair color chart, and the range extends to men's hair color, hair masks, a bond-building treatment and styling products. Beyond single purchases there are paid Limitless memberships with a free rewards program for members. Its athlete partnerships include a tie-up with the UConn Women's Basketball Team and player Paige Bueckers, aimed at highlighting women in sport.
When shoppers look for Madison Reed coupons
Madison Reed coupon searches stay fairly even all year: January leads, March trails.

How to use a Madison Reed coupon
- Madison Reed's sign-up offer, 15% off plus free shipping, comes through a pop-up on the site, so join before you head to checkout.
- Shipping fees show before you pay, which lets you see whether the offer or the $65 free-shipping line does more for a single box of color.
- Promotional account credits expire six months after they're issued and can't be cashed out, so put them toward the next order.
- Service-package discounts follow their own rules: they must be used in one transaction, combine only with the offers they're meant for, and are limited to one per customer.
If your Madison Reed code doesn't work
- Combining offers: Service-package discounts must be used in one transaction, combine only with intended offers, and are limited to one per customer.
- New customers only: "35% off Your First Order Plus Free Shipping" is for a first order.
- End date: "30% Off Color Bar Treatment" ends Nov 19, 2026; "15% Off Your Purchase" ends Nov 19, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
