About Eddie Bauer
Eddie Bauer, a Seattle brand founded in 1920, sells outdoor apparel, outerwear and gear for women, men and kids, plus packs and travel bags.
Plan for returns before you buy: US shoppers pay either a $3.50 prepaid return fee at checkout or a $10 restocking fee taken from the refund.
Eddie Bauer grew up hunting and fishing around Seattle, and the shop he opened in 1920, Bauer's Sports Shop, doubled as a gathering spot where outdoor enthusiasts traded advice. The company credits itself with America's first patented down jacket and with equipping the first American climb of Mt. Everest, and it reached its 100th year in 2020.
Outerwear sits at the center of the range, split into insulated jackets, rainwear, softshell and wind layers, vests, parkas and men's ski styles. Featured lines include Guide Pro, Vintage and Soft. Gear covers backpacks, crossbody and tote bags, waist packs, luggage and hydration, while the kids' section runs from swim and fleece to infant jackets and sleepwear. The brand frames its purpose as helping everyone get outside on their own terms.

How to use a Eddie Bauer coupon
- Eddie Bauer runs on Shopify, so the discount box sits in the order summary on the checkout page.
- ExpertVoice members don't need a code at all: their pro discount applies at checkout on eligible items, though some products are left out.
- A promo code won't make a Final Sale jacket returnable, and those pieces can't be exchanged either.
- Settle the return fee question at checkout as well.
- Paying $3.50 there costs less than losing $10 from a refund if the item might go back.
If your Eddie Bauer code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Final Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged; some items are not eligible for the ExpertVoice discount.
- End date: "40% Off Select Items" ends Nov 17, 2026; "50% Off Clearance Items" ends Nov 17, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at Eddie Bauer
- Adventure Rewards earns 3-5 points per $1 depending on your yearly spend tier, and every 500 points turns into a $5 reward.

- The program terms cover US residents only.
- Military members, nurses, government employees and other first responders can verify through ID.me for 15% off.
- Online orders placed in the holiday stretch get 45 days to come back instead of 30.
