About Farrow & Ball
Farrow & Ball makes paint in many finishes, sample pots, primers and handcrafted wallpaper in Dorset, England, and has done since 1946.
Standard delivery is already free on mainland UK orders, so the real saving lies in testing shades with sample pots and a free colour card before you commit to full tins.
Farrow & Ball is a certified B Corp, and in 2026 it is marking its 80th anniversary with 14 new wallpapers drawn from three designs in its archive. Its paint palette is curated to 132 shades, each with a story behind its name, and a free color card shows the full set. Finishes run from the ultra-matt Dead Flat, now suitable for kitchens and bathrooms, to gloss, eggshell and exterior masonry options.
Beyond paint and paper, the company offers a Colour Consultancy service with professional consultants, showrooms where staff help plan schemes, and a network of stockists. Its Colour Curator, Joa Studholme, shares advice on using its shades, and The Chromologist blog and podcast, hosted by Patrick O'Donnell, explore color, creativity and culture.
