About Huel

Huel sells plant-based complete-nutrition food: powdered meals, ready-to-drink meals, hot instant meals, greens and snacks, all 100% vegan, with meals from $1.52 for 400 calories.

Subscribing is where the steady saving sits, at 25% off every order, while typed-in codes are capped at one per order and one use per person.

Huel's name joins the words human and fuel. Julian Hearn founded the company in June 2015, with the goal of making complete, convenient nutrition better for both people and the environment. The formula was developed by James Collier, a registered nutritionist and dietitian. Each meal is designed to cover the 27 essential vitamins and minerals plus protein, carbs, fats and fiber, using plant ingredients led by oats and peas.

The company pitches Huel for busy weekdays, for example breakfast or lunch at work, leaving room for traditional meals in the evening. It points to the long shelf life, light packaging and lower carbon footprint of plant-based food. The Black Edition ready-to-drink shakes are also sold in Walmart stores, and Huel runs a customer forum and a store locator.

When shoppers look for Huel coupons

Huel coupon searches peak in July, about 1.4× a typical month, and dip lowest in December.

US Google searches, Oct 2025 to Sep 2026. Search interest, not sales.

Does Huel offer free shipping?

Yes. Most orders over $65 ship free; below that, standard delivery costs $9.99 and takes 3-6 business days.

How long does Huel shipping take?

Priority UPS arrives in 1-2 business days for a weight-based fee, while Alaska and Hawaii can take up to 10.

How to use a Huel discount code

  1. The discount box is on the checkout page's order summary.
  2. Huel accepts one code per order, and a code can't sit alongside another discount code or voucher.
  3. Each code also works once per person, so a sign-up code and a friend's referral code won't both land on the same first order.
  4. Pick the bigger one: the referral gives 25% off, the email list 15%.
  5. Before you pay, check whether a subscription at 25% off every order beats the code you have, since you'll be reordering anyway.

If your Huel code doesn't work

  • Minimum order: "Get up to an Extra 20% off on Orders over $60" needs an order of at least $60.
  • One code per order: One code per order; codes cannot be combined with another discount code or voucher, and each code is limited to one use per person.
  • New customers only: "25% off Your First Order" is for a first order.

More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.

More ways to save at Huel

  • The 30-day taste guarantee and the money-back guarantee lower the risk of a first order, but only the first, because repeat purchases aren't refundable.
  • Subscriptions renew on each billing date until you cancel in the account portal, so cancel before that date if you want a break.
  • Banners have also offered a free t-shirt worth $25.
  • The $1.52 starting price per 400-calorie meal is a handy yardstick when you weigh a code against the subscription price.

Can you combine Huel discount codes?
