About Johnston & Murphy
Johnston & Murphy makes dress shoes, sneakers, boots, shirts, outerwear, bags and leather goods for men and women, from a brand with a 175-year history.
The rule that matters most here is membership: J&M Insiders get free ground shipping on every order, 365 days to return and a 60-day wear test.
Johnston & Murphy is part of Genesco, and its catalog splits into men's and women's lines. The men's side covers lace-ups, loafers, golf shoes and formal pairs alongside polos, quarter zips, blazers, belts and socks, while the women's range adds flats, heels, wedges, booties and dresses.
Named collections give the store its character: the XC+ Motion Shirts, built to stretch and wick moisture; a Game Day line that includes licensed apparel for select universities; the Ripley Collection; a Wedding Shop; Presidential Footwear; and a 175th Limited Edition marking the brand's anniversary. Peyton Manning fronts a styling series called Style Center. Shoppers can also buy online and collect in a physical store, and the site offers a shoe care guide.
When shoppers look for Johnston & Murphy coupons
Johnston & Murphy coupon searches peak in December, about 1.9× a typical month, and dip lowest in January.

How to use a Johnston & Murphy coupon
- Any code you use at Johnston & Murphy leaves the return rules alone, but joining J&M Insiders changes them.
- Sign up before you place the order, because member shipping and the 365-day window attach to your account.
- The free ground shipping for members is marked as a limited-time offer, so check that the banner still shows before counting on it.
- If you plan to pay with Affirm, the return has to go back online with the prepaid label rather than to a store.
- Keep the receipt or return form either way, since returns need one.
More ways to save at Johnston & Murphy
- J&M Insiders is the program to join first: members get free shipping on all orders, free 365-day returns and a 60-day wear teSt. On dress shoes, that wear test carries real value, because a pair you've broken in can still go back.
- Gift cards and e-gift cards suit a gift when you don't know the size, and the online balance check shows what's left.
- Returning in a J&M store skips the mail entirely, unless the order went through Affirm.
