About Allbirds
Allbirds makes men's and women's sneakers, slip-ons and runners from wool, tree fiber and sugarcane, plus socks and apparel.
The brand started in 2016 with the Wool Runner. One rule shapes every Allbirds saving: discounts can't be combined with other offers, so pick the single deal that takes the most off your pair.
Allbirds traces its roots to New Zealand in 2007, when former professional footballer Tim Brown began working on a shoe without petroleum-based synthetics. He teamed up with renewables specialist Joey Zwillinger in 2014, and the pair built the first design around superfine Merino wool; Jamie McLellan is credited as the original Wool Runner's designer. The company is a certified B Corp and trades as AB Dnam, LLC.
Today's line-up spans the Tree Runner NZ, Runner NZ, Cruiser and Canvas Cruiser, the new Dasher NZ collection, plus trainers, flats, sandals, active and all-weather styles and leather alternatives. A notable experiment is M0.0NSHOT, a shoe made with regenerative wool from Lake Hawea Station through the ZQRX regenerative program run by The New Zealand Merino Company, which Allbirds describes as having a 0.0 CO₂e footprint.
