About JustFoodForDogs
JustFoodForDogs cooks fresh dog food, from fresh frozen and shelf-stable meals to vet support diets, treats and toppers, and sells it through an Autoship subscription as well as online and in stores.
The deal that shapes your savings: the first subscription box is 50% off with free Pumpkin Treats, and the one-time Clean Bowl refund covers only that first purchase.
JustFoodForDogs cooks its meals in 12 open kitchens where visitors can watch the food being prepared, with locations in New York, California, Washington and Illinois. Its recipes are developed by veterinary nutritionists, the company says it uses human-grade ingredients, and its home page links to research on its food.
New customers start with an online quiz about their dog that suggests recipes. The range also includes nutrient blends for owners who cook at home, variety packs for trying several recipes, and a portal for vets. Beyond its own kitchens, the food is stocked in vet clinics, large pet retailers, some grocery chains and online marketplaces. For Thanksgiving, it donates one meal to local rescue groups for every holiday meal sold.
When shoppers look for JustFoodForDogs coupons
JustFoodForDogs coupon searches peak in July, about 1.4× a typical month, and dip lowest in February.
Does JustFoodForDogs offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders over $49 after discounts and before tax ship free; below that, a flat $19.99 applies, with FedEx delivery in 3-5 business days.
How long does JustFoodForDogs shipping take?
No shipping to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Hawaii or Alaska, and frozen and non-frozen items arrive in separate boxes.

How to use a JustFoodForDogs coupon
- The 50% first-box price is tied to starting a subscription, so take the meal-plan quiz first and choose your Autoship frequency before you reach checkout.
- JustFoodForDogs runs on Shopify, which puts the discount box in the order summary on the checkout page.
- The $49 free-shipping line is measured after discounts, so a coupon can push a small one-off order under it and add the $19.99 flat rate.
- Custom diets fall outside the Clean Bowl refund, so a standard recipe is the safer pick for that discounted first box.
- Food bought through Amazon, Chewy or another reseller goes back to that seller, not to JustFoodForDogs.
More ways to save at JustFoodForDogs
- Most of the saving at JustFoodForDogs comes from the first subscription order: half off the box, free Pumpkin Treats and free shipping on that order.
- After that, Autoship bills at whatever the website price is on each billing date, so glance at the price before a renewal and pick a slower frequency if the freezer is full.
- Store pickup is offered as an alternative to delivery.
- The food is also stocked in its own retail kitchens, inside vet clinics and at Pet Food Express, Petco and some Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions and PetSmart stores, which helps when you need a top-up between deliveries.
JustFoodForDogs questions, answered
How much is the JustFoodForDogs first subscription discount?
First-time subscribers get 50% off the first box plus free Pumpkin Treats. That first subscription order also ships free.
Can you get a refund from JustFoodForDogs if your dog won't eat the food?
The Clean Bowl offer gives a one-time full refund on your first purchase within 30 days, as long as you bought it directly from JustFoodForDogs. Shipping fees aren't refunded, and custom diets don't qualify.
How do you cancel JustFoodForDogs Autoship?
Cancel in your account any time before Autoship renews to avoid the next charge. Payments already taken aren't refundable.
Does JustFoodForDogs charge for shipping?
Orders over $49 after discounts and before tax ship free. Below that, a flat $19.99 rate applies, with FedEx delivery in 3-5 business days.
Does JustFoodForDogs ship to Hawaii or Alaska?
Deliveries don't go to Hawaii, Alaska, PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. There's also no Sunday or holiday shipping.
Where else can you buy JustFoodForDogs?
Its own retail kitchens and vet clinics stock it, along with Amazon, Chewy, Pet Food Express, Petco and some Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions and PetSmart stores. Reseller purchases follow that seller's return rules.
