About philosophy
philosophy sells skincare, fragrance and bath & body products, from cleansers, serums and moisturizers to shower gels, body lotions and eau de toilettes, plus gift sets.
Orders of $50 or more ship free, and offers generally can't be combined, so decide between the student discount, a sale or another offer before you reach checkout.
philosophy was founded by Cristina Carlino, whom the brand credits with inventing the lunch-time peel, an at-home treatment meant to give clinic-style results without redness. Its products follow what it calls dermatologic wisdom, a set of formulation principles aimed at effective yet gentle care that suits sensitive skin, built on patented formulas and delivery methods such as encapsulation and microdosing.
Skincare collections include Purity Made Simple, Hope in a Jar, Ultimate Miracle Worker, Microdelivery and Dose of Wisdom, and the shop can be filtered by concern, from fine lines to acne and dark circles. Fragrance and body products are grouped into scent collections such as amazing grace, pure grace and fresh cream. A skin quiz helps with product picks, gifts can include a free packing-slip message or a $4.00 gift box, and Hope & Grace is the brand's giving-back program.

How to use a philosophy coupon
- The code goes in at checkout, in the discount box on the order summary.
- Before you type one, check what it would replace. philosophy's student offer can't be combined with any other promotion, sale or discount, and the current free-gift promotion follows the same rule.
- The student discount also skips outlet items, discounted value or gift sets and some new launches.
- Gift cards never take a discount, so a code only lowers the rest of the order.
If your philosophy code doesn't work
- Exclusions: Outlet items, discounted value or gift sets and some new launches are excluded from the student offer; gift cards are not eligible for discounts.
- Combining offers: Offers generally can't be combined: the student offer is not combinable with any other promotion, sale or discount.
- Where to enter it: Enter the code at checkout.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at philosophy
- philosophy rewards is free to join and pays 1 point per $1, with every 100 points worth $10.
- Spending $150-$299 moves you to Loyalist and $300+ to Elite, where birthday gifts run $10-$20 off and members get an anniversary sale.
- Points expire December 31 each year, so spend them before then.
- Auto-delivery takes 15% off every order, and the email welcome offer is also 15% off, matching the Student Beans rate, so pick the one that fits how you shop.
