About REEF
REEF sells sandals, flip flops, slides, sneakers, boots and beach apparel for women, men and kids, and surfers founded it in 1984.
The rule to know before you use a code: discounts can't be stacked, and anything bought on sale or clearance is final, so pick the one offer that fits your order.
Beyond footwear, REEF stocks apparel such as T-shirts, dresses, boardshorts, hats, flannels and rash guards with UPF protection. Its shoes can be browsed by comfort feature, including extra cushioning, enhanced arch support, a roomy fit and easy on-and-off designs, or by occasion, from beach days and travel to long walks. Named lines include the Vista, Neptune, Weekend, Fanning, Del Mar and Rambler collections, the water-resistant leather Spiniker, and men's sandals with a built-in bottle opener.
For kids, sizes are split between toddlers aged 2-4 and big kids aged 5-10, with styles from the Ahi, Water Vista and Rio Slide collections. REEF markets its shoes under the trademarked phrase Ridiculously Comfortable and has marked its 40th anniversary. Orders placed on its own site carry a Limited Warranty, and gift cards are sold in digital form only.

When shoppers look for REEF coupons
REEF coupon searches peak in May, about 1.9× a typical month, and dip lowest in December.
Does REEF offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders over $65 ship free by economy service in 7-10 business days, but only within the contiguous US.
How long does REEF shipping take?
FedEx Ground costs $15 for 3-5 days, UPS 2 Day is $25 and UPS Overnight runs $35.
What is REEF's return policy?
New, unworn pairs can go back within 30 days, but each refund carries an $8 handling fee.
Does REEF have a student discount?
Yes. Students, teachers and recent grads get 20% off through Student Beans, using single-use codes.
More about shopping at REEF
- Below the threshold
- Economy shipping costs $7.95 on smaller orders, and shipping charges never come back when you return something.
- Exchanges
- Swapping instead of refunding is free and ships free, which beats paying the $8 fee for a size change.
- No international orders
- REEF doesn't ship to international addresses, APO/FPO, Guam or the Virgin Islands.

How to use a REEF coupon
- REEF runs on Shopify, so the discount box sits in the order summary on the checkout page.
- Students, teachers and recent grads verify with Student Beans first and then receive a single-use code for 20% off.
- Only one offer works per order, so that code won't add to a Last Chance markdown.
- Offers apply to in-stock items only.
- Anything bought in a sale or clearance becomes final sale, which matters for sandals you haven't tried on.
- Orders can't be edited after you place them, so add your code before you pay.
If your REEF code doesn't work
- Minimum order: "15% off Your Purchase of $49 or More" needs an order of at least $49.
- Exclusions: Final sale items (including clearance, promotion and sale purchases) cannot be returned; offers apply to in-stock items only.
- Combining offers: Discounts and promotions cannot be stacked; one offer per order.
- New customers only: "Take 20% off First Order" is for a first order.
- End date: "10% Off Select Orders" ends Nov 17, 2026.
More reasons a code fails, and what to try: why promo codes don't work.
More ways to save at REEF
- The REEF referral program gives a friend $10 off a first order and hands you a $10 coupon in return.
- Signing up for REEF texts promises a discount, though the amount isn't printed.
- The Last Chance section marks past-season styles up to 50% off, as long as final-sale terms suit you.
- Digital eGift cards run from $50 to $200, with no physical cards.
- Box-free drop-off at a Happy Returns location refunds you the same day.
REEF questions, answered
Is there a fee to return REEF shoes?
Refunds carry an $8 handling fee, while exchanges are free and ship free.
Do REEF discounts combine?
REEF allows one offer per order, so discounts and promotions can't be stacked.
Can a REEF order be cancelled?
Orders can't be cancelled or edited once placed. Pre-orders are the exception and can be cancelled before they ship.
Are REEF sale items returnable?
Clearance, promotion and sale purchases are final sale and can't be returned.
