About Ring
Ring sells home security hardware, including video doorbells, indoor and outdoor cameras, alarms, sensors and accessories, along with Ring Protect subscription plans.
Discount codes cover devices only, never the subscriptions, Ring Assist+ or third-party gear. Subscribers already get 10% off eligible devices automatically, and that discount can't be combined with a code.
Ring traces its start to a 2012 garage project, when founder Jamie Siminoff wanted a way to answer the front door from a phone; that idea became its first Video Doorbell. The company states its mission as making neighborhoods safer, and it runs the Neighbors App and community programs alongside its devices.
The current line includes 4K doorbells and cameras, a Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam 2K that tracks movement, a Dome Cam 4K aimed at businesses, and a first Ring Smart Lock announced as coming soon. Subscription features include video history kept for as long as 180 days, Video Descriptions, Familiar Faces recognition and 24/7 professional alarm monitoring, though some are unavailable in certain states. Professional installation can be booked after checkout, and Ring offers Affirm financing on qualifying orders.

How to use a Ring promo code
- Ring's code box is labeled "Discount Code" and sits at the top right of checkout on ring.com.
- If a code won't apply, Ring suggests signing out and trying again.
- That tip matters because signed-in subscribers already get the automatic 10% device discount, and a code can't sit on top of it.
- Ring also limits you to one discount code per day.
- Codes don't touch Ring subscriptions, Ring Assist+ or third-party devices, so a cart mixing those with a doorbell discounts only the Ring hardware.
- Give-Back codes from VerifyPass are one-time codes and don't work during sales events.
