About Smyths Toys
Smyths Toys is a UK toy superstore chain selling LEGO, games and puzzles, ride-ons, garden toys, nursery products, and video games and consoles online.
The figure to watch is £20. UK orders above it ship free, and two of the homepage promotions also hinged on spending £20 on a single range.
Smyths Toys stretches well past the toy aisle. Its Baby Room department covers car seats, prams and pushchairs, highchairs, cots, baby monitors and bedding, while the outdoor range runs from bikes, scooters and helmets to trampolines, swings, playhouses, go-karts, pedal cars and hoverboards.
The gaming section lists PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and bundles, pre-order games, headsets, gaming chairs, Meta Quest headsets and digital top-ups such as Roblox gift cards. On the toy side, Smyths carries names like Barbie, Hot Wheels, PAW Patrol, Bluey, Pokémon and Funko POP!, along with lines marked as exclusive to the store. A Gift Finder helps narrow down presents, and shoppers can sign up to receive a free 300-page toy catalogue by post.
Does Smyths Toys offer free shipping?
Yes. UK orders over £20 ship free, and ordering by 10pm brings next-day delivery, though the site puts an asterisk on both lines.
How long does Smyths Toys shipping take?
It's free, and the order is ready to pick up from a Smyths store within 2 hours.

How to use a Smyths Toys discount code
- Several Smyths savings were product deals on the homepage rather than codes: 3 for 2 on all Crayola, a free Hot Wheels Monster Truck when you spend £20 on Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, and a bonus Fortnite pickaxe with Fortnite purchases over £20.
- Put the qualifying items in your basket and check the deal shows before you pay.
- The page that could be read doesn't show where a discount code box sits, so look through the basket and checkout steps.
- Only the homepage was readable, and it leaves out the returns window, so open the returns page on smythstoys.com before buying a present that might come back.
More ways to save at Smyths Toys
- On a small Smyths order, free click and collect sidesteps the delivery question entirely, with the toy ready within 2 hours.
- A LEGO set or console game that takes the basket past £20 brings free UK delivery to the door instead.
- Relatives unsure what to buy can pick up a Smyths gift card, and the postal catalogue gives a child 300 pages to point at firSt.
