About Highlights

Highlights publishes children's magazines and runs puzzle book clubs and activity subscription boxes for ages 0-12, alongside books and puzzles, after 80 years in print.

The cheapest way in is the first shipment: several boxes and clubs start at $15, $20 or $5. Every subscription ships free, while other merchandise may carry shipping.

Highlights magazine first came out in 1946, started in a two-room office by the married couple Caroline Clark Myers and Garry Cleveland Myers, recognized for their work in education and child development. Their founding belief that children's voices matter still shapes the company, which keeps writing back personally to the letters readers send.

Magazine titles now run from Hello for babies and High Five, which also has a Bilingüe edition, to the flagship Highlights, brainPLAY and a CoComelon mini magazine. The puzzle clubs include Puzzle Buzz, Puzzlemania and Which Way USA, built around features such as Hidden Pictures, and the I Can Read! Book Club serves early readers. Highlights for Children's family of companies also includes Highlights Early Learning and Zaner-Bloser, and schools and organizations can buy in quantity through a Group Sales program.
