About tomboyx
tomboyx sells underwear, bras, gender-affirming binders, tucking and packing underwear, period underwear, swimwear and loungewear, designed in Seattle since 2013 by a queer and women-founded company.
The most useful step before paying is joining the free TBX Rewards program, because members get free US shipping on their orders.
tomboyx was started by co-founders Fran and Naomi, who set out to make underwear that people of any size or gender expression could wear comfortably. Their first run, a 4.5" trunk and a 6" button-fly boxer brief made at a woman-owned factory, sold out in presale within two weeks, and soft bras, boy shorts and briefs were added soon after. In 2019 the company added gender-affirming lines for trans customers, including binder alternatives.
Pieces are fit-tested on people of many body types, and the range now spans fabrics such as TENCEL Modal, bamboo rib and cotton, with multipacks, tees, hoodies and joggers alongside the underwear. The company is B Corp certified and says it adds new colors and styles based on customer feedback.
